TYPICAL
RECEPIES
| "Ravioli
Piemonte style" - ravioli stuffed with braised meat, with
wine sauce. |

"Aià"
- home-made spaghetti, flavoured with a sauce made by squashing
walnut kernels in a mortar with butter and a lot of garlic.

| "Women's
Kisses" and "Golden kisses" - small pastry
cakes whose ingredients are almond flour, wheat flour, butter and
sugar. |
| "Farsoeu"
- soft fritters of cooked pastry, fried in lard or oil. They are served
hot covered with sugar. There are also fritters of leavened pastry
with raisins and fried roles filled with jam or fruit. |
| "Panada"
- soup made from grated dry bread, water, oil and salt, cooked slowly.
When ready a whole egg and a lot of cheese can be added. |
| "Bread
in cucion" - bean soup, to which, near the end of the cooking,
crusts of bread are added and it is served seasoned with oil and pepper.

- a sort of wafer made from flour, water and salt, fried in lard or
oil in an iron pan. |
